Akshay, Twinkle heading towards splitville

Bollywood most cherished married couple Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are reportedly heading for splitville. Their relationship is going through rough patch for quite sometime and they are rumored to drift apart.

The rumor of their separation grew stronger when they make solo appearances in various events. In the past, Akshay and Twinkle jointly endorsed many products, walked the ramp together, appeared public events together but now-a-days, they are making solo appearances.

The report goes on "the duo is known to grace events and endorsements together. Off late, Twinkle Khanna has been making solo appearances at functions and events. And that is not all. "Recently, Twinkle and Akshay posed together for a Bollywood magazine. However, at the unveiling of the cover page, the event was attended only by the Akshay Kumar." 

Akshay also made a solo appearance at Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza’s wedding reception.

On one hand media is reporting about Akshay and Twinkle’s break-up whereas on the other hand, Akshay expressed his love for his dearest wife Twinkle on the Valentine's day, he tweeted, "Happy Slavery Day to all devoted men! If we can't appreciate the Woman we love on Valentine's Day then we don't deserve them. So be a man and pamper your lady just like me."

In the past, their relationship hit the rock due to Akshay's professional relationship with Priyanka Chopra. It is also rumored that Twinkle did not like Akki hosting Khatron Ke Khiladi as he would always be surrounded by the hottest women of the country.

Twinkle and Akshay had a son named Aarav.

Akshay Kumar Won't Play in His Own Production Oh My God!

Akshay Kumar was supposed to play Lord Krishna in his next home production based on Paresh Rawal's successful play Krishna Vs Kanhaiya, a story about the clash between an atheist and God. However, Akki, reportedly has opted out of playing God.

The film that has now been titled Oh My God! and is Akshay's first co-production under his recently set up production company Grazing Goat, will be directed by Umesh Shukla, who had also directed the play it is based on. Ashvini Yardi, ex head honcho of a television channel gets into film production with this venture as well.

A source close to the film revealed to Mumbai Mirror, "Originally, Paresh Rawal was supposed to produce the film. But now his company Playtime will be the line producer for the project."

Explaining the reason behind Akshay's decision to opt out of the project, our source added, "Despite having to work on five films in 2012, Akshay tried his best to allot dates to his co-production with Ashvini. However, things failed to fall in place. He is tied up with five films next year- Shirish Kunder's Joker, Prabhu Devaa's Rowdy Rathore, Milan Luthria's Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Part 2, Ashish Mohan's Khiladi 786 and Neeraj Pandey's Special Chabbis. And Ashwini wanted to put her first film on floors in January 2012."

"Akshay and Ashwini had long meetings. Akshay is still trying to work out his dates, but chances of him remaining in the film are pretty remote. Even the entry scene had been completely worked out keeping Akshay in mind. So, all that will have to be done all over again. A big star will be chosen to replace Akshay," added the source.

According to sources from the industry, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn are being considered to replace Akshay.

Akshay and Ashvini remained unavailable for comment.

Gujarat’s chief minister Narendra Modi, on Monday evening, flagged off an Olympic-like event in Ahmedabad with over 20 lakh kids from different age groups and states participating in various sporting events.

Actor Akshay Kumar, along with a bunch of differently-abled kids from the NGO he supports, were invited to participate in all the competition categories alongside regular kids of the same age groups.
 
“I’m glad this event has sent out a great message to the entire society -don’t differentiate between kids. All of them under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyaan have the right to study, play and grow up in the same environment, attend the same schools and colleges. For some reason there is a huge divide, which can be blurred with events like this one,“ beams Akshay, adding, “It was so overwhelming to see my kids participate in the same sports events and appear on a common platform with other kids without feeling any sense of division based on one’s physical aspects.

The actor, who has just completed his marathon promotions for Desi Boyz, and will be off to Bangkok tonight to join the rest of the cast of Housefull 2 for the film’s last schedule, says it didn’t take him too long to agree to attend the event. “Thanks to my father, who also had a strong sports background, I have developed an affinity for all kinds of sporting events, whether it’s martial arts, sprinting, boxing or kushti (traditional wrestling).
And if I’m getting a chance to place special children alongside the normal ones and boost their confidence, I’m not a fool to drop it,“ he states.

Akshay also spoke to the politico to make martial arts compulsory for school kids in his state.
“Modiji has assured me that he will make efforts for it,“ he smiles. “And I’m sure he will do it because he seemed very kicked about the idea of incorporating martial arts with basic education. I’ve been speaking to authorities in various states, but this is one of the first ones where I’ve returned with something more concrete than the others.“

Akshay Kumar Teaches Dance to Actress Chitrangada Singh

We're not sure if Chitrangada Singh has two left feet, but if she's had to learn dance moves from Akshay Kumar (who isn't much of a dancer himself!) she surely must be missing a beat or two.

Apparently, the actress just could not get her steps right for a song sequence with Akki in Desi Boyz.

Choreographer duo Bosco-Ceasar tried their best as they had just a
day to complete the shoot, but for some reason the lady couldn't really perfect the sequence.

Fortunately, for all concerned, B-Town's khiladi stepped up his game. "Akshay was really enjoying the sequence as he loved the track.

When he saw that Chitrangada was struggling with the steps, he readily pitched in to demonstrate the moves to her.

Everyone on the set was pretty surprised because Akshay has never really done this before," reveals a source.

Adds producer Krishika Lulla, "Askhay is an enthusiastic actor and he goes out of the way to help his co-actors."

Back to school
If the picture is anything to go by, the sequence is shot inside the Trinity college classroom, something only Bollywood can pull convincingly.

Akki apparently, not only showed her the moves, but also practiced it with her till she got it right.

"There are two other songs in the film with John and Akshay, which are almost like item numbers. Akshay has been doing a lot of dancing anyway during the shoot.

And as all the songs are being choreographed by Bosco and Ceasar, he got very comfortable with them," the source explains.

With the dismal performance of Speedy Singhs at the box-office, seems like Akki has decided to dance his woes away with a gorgeous lady in tow!
