Kareena's 'Heroine' based on Manisha Koirala's life

Nepali beauty Manisha Koirala who starred in hit films like ‘Saudagar’ ‘Bombay’ and ‘1942: A Love Story’ saw gradual failure in her personal and professional life. She achieved immense success in the initial period of her acting career but gradually she climbed down the ladder due to her drinking and her failed relationship. It is highly speculated that Madhur Bhandarkar’s highly anticipated film, ‘Heroine’ is based on the life of Manisha Koirala.

Ever since Madhur announced ‘Heroine’, the film has been making news for varied reasons. The female protagonist Kareena is said to play Manisha Koirala in the movie. It was earlier said that the film is inspired from Hollywood actress Marilyn Monroe. However, Madhur denied that his film revolves around any successful actress.

In the past, Manisha Koirala was spotted in various awkward situations. She was spotted heavily drunk at a party, could not even control her steps. Her personal relationship also hit the rough patch. Later, her disturbed married life hit the headlines. It was also rumored that she filed divorce from her husband.

Apart from Kareena Kapoor, 'Heroine' stars Arjun Rampal and Randeep Hooda in the male leads.

Iqbal Sharma's wife slams Kareena Kapoor

After Saif Ali Khan and NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma’s brawl, now their better-half got into scuffle. Iqbal’s wife Tarina Sharma who acted in few Bollywood films slammed Kareena Kapoor for defending Saif saying that her husband does not need any cheap publicity as he comes from a respectable family.

Tarina’s statement came just after a day Kareena sent out a press statement against Iqbal Sharma. In her statement, whatever was being said by Bebo at the press conference was completely one-sided. Iqbal Sharma is publicity-hungry. “How can a man with a broken nose and jaw speak continuously on TV for more than 10 hours?”

Contradicting Kareena Kapoor's remarks, Tarina Sharma denied that her husband is publicity hungry. She said that her husband belongs to the family that helped Mahatma Gandhi when he came to South Africa and cannot think of any violence. She claimed that Kareena's claims were totally untrue and she was present at the spot.

Kareena shoots hot bed scene with Arjun Rampal

Kareena Kapoor who was earlier adamant not to go intimate with any of her co-star except her beau saif Ali Khan finally shed her inhibitions and agreed to go cozy with Arjun Rampal in Madhur Bhandarkar’s highly anticipated film, ‘Heroine’. At first,
Kareena was not ready to shoot the scene but when Madhur Bhandarkar assured her that the scene would be shot very aesthetically, she gave her nod.

The scene will be shot in on March 20 at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Only few crew members will be present in the room and it is heard that Madhur has asked his assistants to sign ‘Confidentiality Contract’ while shooting the intimate scene between Kareena and Arjun.

Madhur said, “All I can say is that Kareena is an extremely professional and committed actress.”

Meanwhile, a source added, “A suburban five-star will be booked for the sequence, in which, Kareena starts off with smoking and drinking and ends up in bed with Rampal.”

Kareena was last seen with Arjun Rampal in ‘We Are Family’.

Kareena Kapoor denies pregnancy report

Kareena Kapoor ‘s wrong pregnancy rumor was put into rest by a close friend of the actress.The rumor of her pregnancy surfaced when she was spotted with loose clothes at the Mumbai airport showing Bebo covering her belly with a scarf. Bebo is shocked with the rumor doing all round the on net and she vehemently denied that
she is not pregnant.

A source close to the actress said, “No, she isn’t pregnant. It’s strange how there has been so much frenzy with just a solitary picture floating around. There is no truth to the so-called news and for Kareena it is business as usual.”

Apparently, the photograph clicked at the airport went viral on net. It is also said that the photo was clicked from the wrong angle and that’s why she looked rosy.
“On February 20, she resumes shooting for Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’. This will go on for 25-30 days and Kareena has confirmed to her director that she will be reporting for the shoot. If she was carrying a baby, she wouldn’t have been in any position to shoot for the film,” added another source.

As per report, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan will get engaged on January 10^th and they would get married a week after the release of ‘Agent Vinod’.

Kareena orders Rs 40 lakh necklace for her royal wedding

2012 will see the royal wedding of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The much awaited wedding will take place around March a week after the release of ‘Agent Vinod’.
The preparation for the royal wedding is on and as per report Kareena Kapoor has ordered a royal necklace of Rs 40 lakh running from neck to the waist.

Those exclusive stuffs are usually worn during royal weddings and Kareena wants the same for her. The necklace would be studded with precious gems and weighs about 400 gm. It will take two months time for the craftsmanship. The making of the necklace involves painstaking handwork.
Saif is also planning to give a big diamond ring to Kareena as the wedding gift.
Kareena and Saif are very excited about the wedding and they wanted the wedding to be like a royal style. The wedding date has not yet been declared. Saif and Kareena will make an official announcement of the wedding during the promotions of their film, ‘Agent Vinod’.

Delay in Heroine Movie Due to Saif-Kareena Wedding?

His first Heroine (Ash) was expecting a baby and had to go on maternity leave, temporarily halting the shoot of the film. And now Madhur Bhandarkar’s lead actress is getting married, which again alters the plans for his ambitious project. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that even before the current schedule of Heroine can end, the second leg of the shoot has been rescheduled as Kareena is to wed her beau Saif Ali Khan around the same time. A friend of the director revealed to us that the second schedule, initially slated to start from the end of January, has been pushed ahead to the middle of February.

The film’s producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor of UTV, who had announced last week that the next schedule of Heroine was to commence “from the end of February to April-May” and then later stated the change in the filming dates, refrained from divulging any further details. When contacted, Bhandarkar also confirmed the change in schedule, saying, “Yes, the second schedule of Heroine will now start in the middle of February instead of the end of January.”

Bhandarkar’s friend explained, “The idea is to complete the second schedule by the middle of March instead of the end of April, so that Kareena can attend to her wedding and personal life in March and April before she returns to work in May.”

According to the director’s friend, Kareena was reluctant to take a break in the middle of the schedule for her wedding. “There is a reason why this decision has been taken. The plan is to complete the schedule, so that Kareena’s performance remains consistent and doesn’t lose the intensity the role demands amidst her wedding plans. This way she gets to enjoy her wedding and honeymoon, before resuming work,” added Bhandarkar’s friend.

Kareena to start shooting for Heroine from Nov 25

After being part of hits like 3 Idiots, Bodyguard and Ra.One, Kareena Kapoor is now focusing all her energy on Madhur Bhandarkar's ambitious project Heroine. Bebo begins shooting for the film from Nov 25 and it certainly will be quite a demanding shooting schedule.

Considering that Kareena has an author-backed role, the actress has refrained from taking on other projects and is completely devoting her time towards Heroine. The film is also being seen as a chance for Bebo to bag the prestigious National Award. After all, Madhur's heroines be it Tabu (Chandni Bar) or Priyanka Chopra (Fashion) have bagged the coveted National Award.

Madhur too seems all excited that his dream project is finally happening. The director tweeted, "HEROINE principal photography to commence from End Nov, Salim - Suleiman to score music for the film 'Heroine'... Music sitting starts today!!!"
