VIVEK OBEROI DAREDEVIL AERIAL STUNTS IN KRRISH 2 MOVIE

The actor is completing flying hours for his role for Krrish sequel

Vivek Oberoi is making sure that he finished his training that will equip him to fly a plane before he starts shooting for Krrish 2. It is learnt that he will be doing some daredevil aerial stunts for the climax scene with Hrithik Roshan in the next Rakesh Roshan movie.

A well-placed source told us that Vivek has enrolled at a flying institute in Florida, US. And as and when he can, he takes off, to complete his flying hours before he can get his license.

"Considering the curiosity surrounding the next Krissh sequel, the production house is trying to keep things under wraps as the film starts shooting later this November," said our informer, adding that Vivek too, is being cautious about not letting out any information.

Reportedly, his character is inspired from Patrick Stewart's Professor Charles Xavier in the Hollywood's X-Men series. Interestingly, there's a mutant angle in the Rakesh Roshan directed movie as Chitrangada Singh's character is based on Mystique, who can transform herself completely into another individual.

The X factor
Another source revealed that the actor is relegated to the wheelchair for a considerable portion of the film. "He can move only his hands for a major part of the movie.

But later, he is cured and gains mobility before the action-filled climax," says the source, adding that this is when he flies a plane for the confrontational sequences.

Interestingly, Professor X, as Charles Xavier is also called in the X-Men series, also has a special plane for himself and his team. Maybe that's the inspiration for the producer-director, who's also said to be planning a specially designed aircraft for Vivek's character in the movie.

KARISMA KAPOOR AS HEMA MALINI IN UPCOMING SATTE PE SATTA REMAKE MOVIE

Sanjay Dutt, whose first production Rascals is due for release next week, is all set to go on floor with his second production which is the remake of 1982′s Satte Pe Satta, in December. Satte Pe Satta will be directed by Soham Shah, who has earlier made Kaal and Luck.

Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the dual roles of Ravi and Babu which were played by Amitabh Bachchan in the original and Karisma Kapoor, who is making her Bollywood comeback with Vikram Bhatt’s project Dangerous Ishq, will be cast opposite him.

Kajol was the original choice for the role played by Hema Malini in the
original but since she just delivered a baby, Sanjay didn’t want to pressurize her to return to the studio. Sanjay then approached his Lagey Raho Munnabhai co-star Vidya Balan for the role but she was busy with her other assignments. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was also offered step into the shoes of Hema Malini, but she got pregnant. There were also talks of Madhuri Dixit Nene being approached for the same role but finally they decided on casting Karisma Kapoor as she is a fantastic actress and suits the role perfectly. Sanjay Dutt is also planning to request Amitabh Bachchan to introduce the characters in the remake.

Sanjay Dutt gifts Ranbir a bike worth Rs 30 lakh

Sanjay Dutt has gifted Ranbir Kapoor a bike worth Rs 30 lakh on his 29th birthday. Though Ranbir did not throw a grand bash, Sanjay Dutt dropped at the venue where the cast and the crew of ‘Rockstar’ threw a surprise birthday party for Ranbir and surprised the actor with a lucrative bike.
Actually, Sanju Baba wished to cast Ranbir in his father Sunil Dutt’s role in the remake of ‘Mujhe Jeene Do’ and he went all out to woo the actor whom he has seen growing up.

A source informed, “Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt are neighbors. They both live around the same place in Bandra. Also, Dutt has seen Ranbir grow up. They work out together at the same gym in Dutt`s building Imperial Heights. Though Ranbir has his own trainer, he had always looked up to Sanju.”

“When it came to buying a gift for Ranbir, Dutt immediately thought of a bike. Sanju knows how much Ranbir loves bikes,” added the source.

When contacted Sanjay Dutt said that he is still deciding on the gift option, "I am thinking of gifting Ranbir a bike. I don`t know if it`s a good idea or not. But he is a lovely boy and I am very fond of him,” said the man.

But a source close to actor, confirmed, "Dutt gifted the bike to Ranbir last night. It apparently costs around Rs 30 lakh."

Deepika Padukone to don a bikini

If we go by the promo of the ‘Desi Boyz’ then we will find that style quotient is the major USP of the movie. As Akshay Kumar and John Abraham went by their dare bare look, the leading ladies of the movie, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh are also assumed to get into the two piece.  Deepika has don bikini in her previous film and she has not any reservations.

However a source close to the film confirms, "There are thousand ways of resorting to escapism but director Rohit Dhawan feels that nudity should be last one to
look at," the source says, "Everyone's prerogative and perspective is different. If you are making a 'Boogie Nights' then nudity is unavoidable but a film like DESI BOYZ doesn't require that."

When contacted, Rohit didn't deny any such possibility of his girls getting into bikinis. He says, "There aren't any beaches in the film so no one is going to start swimming. Also no one is playing a lifeguard either. I may put someone in a bikini if a scene genuinely demanded it, but sorry to say, DESI BOYZ doesn't have any room for that."

Well, the hot girls and the desi boys are surely going to soar the temperature.

"Let the spirits guide you, but never let them take you."
Spirits of the Dead are coming...
Yuki is about to face an army of lost souls on Samhain, the night of Halloween, when the spirits of the dead roam free. Yuki will need all the help she can get from her friends, but will Calvin be there for her when she needs him the most?

                                                                   Review:
Yuki is special: she can smell the dead.  She is also running out of time.  Samhain is fast approaching – as is the storm of spirits it will bring with it.  Yuki needs to find a way to get through the night.  Preferably with her sanity.  To make everything worse, a murderer is out there – a murderer who seems to be targeting werewolves.  And then, just when Yuki is starting to think that her life cannot get any better, a disaster strikes.  And still, time is running out.  On the bright side, she’s found something to deal with her ghosty problems.  The downside?  It involves stealing.  From witches.  Wonderful, just wonderful…
Oh, how I missed Yuki!  Which proves how addictive this series is, seeing as I read Spirit Storm straight after I finished She Smells the Dead, but there you go.  And what a wonderful sequel!  It was just as quirky, cute, fun and such a pageturner!  I found myself sitting in bed, my kindle on my lap, reading way into the wee hours.  I love this series!
Vanessa Stennings, more commonly known as Yuki, was just as wonderful as she was in the first book!  She had the craziest ideas (wearing a shirt full of safety pins to keep the spirits away.  Who else?), as well as being insanely excitable and energetic.  Her dress sense: amazingly wacky, featuring gourd spiders and shoulder-bag pumpkin ghosts.  And they were called Legs and Boo.  Don’t you just love her already?  She’s so cute, hilarious, and her wonderful madness was just contagious!
Calvin Miller was amazing.  And also an alpha wolf.  Basically, he says “jump”, the other wolves say “how high”.  He, too, was wonderfully mad.  And adorable.  He was so brave and strong: just what Yuki needed. And, I can tell you now, that Cal and Yuki were the cutest.  Ever.  They’re soulmates, but it actually works.  Cal’s soul is special: he has a spirit wolf.  And Yuki’s just plain special: hence, she smells the dead.  So, really, it’s more spirit mates.  Either way, they’re adorable.  So, so, so, so, so cute!  It also felt wonderfully real, all the way through the book.  It was the light in the spirity dark.
Emma was officially the best friend ever!  She was totally sweet and the “normal” thing grounding Yuki.  Plus she was completely addicted to research – how completely weird?  And she Training to be a vet, Emma named her cats Van Gogh and Chairman Meow!  Plus, I love her diabolical plans…!
Simon was kind of a jerk.  He was also sarcastic and very funny.  And a wolf.  An old one!  Seriously, he was born with the wolf spirit.  Which meant he was kind of, in Yuki’s own words, “off”.   He was, uh, “ancient”.  Y’know.  Thirty!
Man.  In the first five pages: a murder!  That is just how I like my thrillers!  And a deranged, symbolic, werewolf-hating murder?  Does it get any better?  Yes.  When you throw in ghosts, eminent danger and a brilliantly wacky heroine.  I adore E.J.’s writing and plot, even if some parts felt a little skipped-over, a little anti-climatic.  But the ending?  Wow.  Let’s just say, if I didn’t already have the third book, there’d be a pretty impressive chance that I’d lose my sanity!
Plus, on a completely unrelated topic, isn’t this cover just the most beautiful thing ever?
