In My Mailbox (#30)

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren.  It's a perfect way to see who's reading and review what.  Awesome!

I had a goood week this week.  A couple of great review books.  Some random bought-myself books.  And some awesome NetGalley books.  I am happy with my books.  :-D

Books for Review:

Kevin's Point of ViewThe Academy (After Life)

Kevin's Point of View by Del Shannon (Goodreads | Amazon)
This looks really good!  It's about a little boy who uses his imagination to escape reality, until an evil villain comes after him...!  Thank you to Del!
The Academy (After Life, Book One) by T.P. Boje (Goodreads | Amazon)
Death Is Only The Beginning...
What do you have to do to get into Heaven?  In this world, go to school!  I love the sound of this book, so thank you T.P!

Books Bought:

Brisingr (Inheritance, #3)1st to Die (Women's Murder Club #1)

Brisingr (Inheritance, Book Three) by Christopher Paolini  (Goodreads | Amazon)
Admittedly, I never actually got round to the second book in this series, but this was on sale!  It's a gorgeous hardback cover, and I couldn't resist!  What can I say?  I was weak! *laughs*
Nemesis (Miss Marple, Book Twelve) by Agatha Christie  (Goodreads | Amazon)
Gotta love the classics, right?  :D
1st To Die (Women's Murder Club, Book One) by James Patterson  (Goodreads | Amazon)
I've read a few of his adult books before.  One left me slightly scarred.  Therefore I am hesitantly planning on reading this...

From NetGalley:

Julie of the Wolvesdancergirl (WiHi series, #1)Brooklyn, Burning
In Front of God and Everybody

Julie of the Wolves (Book One) by Jean Craighead George (Goodreads | Amazon | NetGalley)
This one looks pretty good.  Torn girl, animal instincts... I'm likin' the sound of it.
Dancergirl (WiHi, Book One) by Carol M. Tanzman (Goodreads | Amazon | NetGalley)
The Videos Went Viral
This.  Looks.  Amazing.  Like completely amazing.  I mean, this is the first part of the synopsis:
EVER FEEL LIKE SOMEONE’S WATCHING YOU?
ME TOO.
BUT LATELY IT’S BEEN HAPPENING IN MY ROOM.
WHEN I’M ALONE.
Incredible, right?!  I can't wait to read it!!
Brooklyn, Burning by Steve Brezenoff (Goodreads | Amazon | NetGalley)
When you're sixteen and no one understands who you are, sometimes the only choice left is to run.
This looks amazing too!  And the cover is awesome.  :D
In Front of God and Everybody (Confessions of April Grace, Book One) by K.D. McCrite (Goodreads | Amazon | NetGalley)
If God Wanted April Grace To Be Kind To Her Neighbours, He Should Have Made Them Nicer!
I saw that line and just laughed!  I requested the book.  I haven't read it yet, but it looks ace!

Well, that's my rather long IMM.  I've just realized what a wacky variation there is - Middle Grade, adult, sort-of-religious, historical...  I wonder if I can manage to get one from every single genre one week!  *laughs*

What was in your mailbox this week?
