ACTOR EMRAAN HASHMI THE SERIAL KISSER

Actor Emraan Hashmi The Serial Kisser

Yes you guessed it right we are talking about the macho man, the serial kisser of Bollywood. A title like this comes with sheer hard work and determination isn’t it? Not to mention this is the sure shot way to achieve immediate fame.

Now all of us know Emraan Hashmi for his kissing streak. It seems however that Emraan has no regrets for all he’s done. In fact it won’t be wrong to put it that he actually takes pride in his acts.

It was after Anurag Basu’s ‘Murder’ (2004) that Emraan hit the gossip columns in Bollywood. It is Bollywood after all and something like this here is indeed considered newsworthy.

The on-screen Casanova seems to admit that he did contaminate the industry with his not so liked lip locks. Emraan however feels that if not he then some other star would have showed this aspect to tinsel town. Cinema he feels keeps evolving with time and anything and everything that is bold did and always will raise eyebrows in Bollywood. Many have often attributed Emrann of doing something very much against our Indian traditions.

For Emraan it’s all in your mind. Be it vulgarity or boldness it all depends from person to person. Also he feels that something the audiences love to see and for which there is a huge market can purely not be so wrong.

When asked whether the serial kisser title has helped him grow in the industry or acted as a hindrance Emraan honestly states that neither. He feels no one cares a straw for anything unless and until his movies are doing well at the box-office and making some quick bucks. True it is how it can matter to producers and directors as long as you are keeping their pockets full with the box-office collections.

Hashmi who is now 32 years by age with a wife and sons says that he is never comfortable in sharing the details of his films with his wife and kids. Now Emraan if there is nothing wrong in the kind of films you do one does not help but wonder why this secretive game. It seems the serial kisser’s words and actions do not match in real life.

It seems however that the actor is taking a U-turn from his bold movies. His last few releases saw more of acting that his serial-kisser attitude. Consider ‘The Dirty Picture’ and Emraan’s character is one who hates the voluptuous Silk. Now this is not the kind of roles we expect of Emraan. He had to be playing the role of Tushar Kapoor and liplocking Vidya Balan instead. Wouldn’t that be what the common masses would expect?
