Finally, the licensing hassle for the yesteryears remake ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ is over and as per report the film will go on floor very soon. As said earlier,
Katrina Kaif has been zeroed to play the role of Hema Malini in the remake and the plan remains the same.The film is all set to go on floors and it will be made by Sunil Bohra and Viacom 18. Insiders reveal that Abhay Deol and Akshay Kumar are being considered for the role of Sanjeev Kumar and Dharmendra respectively. It was Katrina Kaif’s dream role to play the dream girl. Kat always speaks in admiration of Hema Malini and expressed her desire to enact the role.
Hema Malini has played double role in the movie and hence Kat will get enough scope to flaunt her acting skill. ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’ is a yesteryears blockbuster of 1972. Currently, she is shooting in London with Shahrukh Khan for Yash Raj's untitled romantic flick.
Hema Malini also feels that Katrina Kaif is the perfect choice for the role. Let’s see whether Kat will be able to re-create the magic of the dream girl of Bollywood.
