Review:

This second chapter was just as good as the first!  It was just non-stop action, non-stop excitement.  I was completely absorbed, addicted.  The suspense was amazing: can Remy escape, can she avoid the policeman?  I was on the edge of my seat for every single page of this thirteen-page chapter.  Remy is just brilliant: so smart, brave and quick-witted.  I can't wait to see what happens next, where the path chosen by the readers takes her!

 

If you haven't visited this site and this book, I seriously think you ought to go - now!  It's the best interactive site I've ever been on, and the books are something I'd buy in a book shop - only better, because I have a say in how they end!  :D

Review:

The first chapter drew me in instantly.  This story is just so different from the others: I loved it!  Rémy has had an unusual life, pick-pocketing since she could walk before moving onto jewels at the age of eight.  Now she's the best jewel thief out there.  But, despite her odd background, she's a strong character, one I just connected with instantly.  And as for Thaddeus, a detective and our other protagonist, he was just as well thought out.  He was slightly different than the other police, being interested in new technology (such as night-vision goggles) and more cautious police-work.  I can't wait to see where the whole cops-and-robbers angle goes...  Overall, a very strong and addictive start to a brilliant book.  Plus, it ended on such a cliffhanger!  I really enjoyed it, and I think you should all go try it out.  Now!
