Washington, D.C.--Democrat Rep. Charles Rangel, the Chairman of the House tax committee, failed to report as much as $1.3 million in outside income, and $3 million in various business transactions, on financial-disclosure forms he filed between 2002 and 2006.Rangel is being probed by the House Ethics Committee.
Investigators say they became suspicious when Rangel also checked the “No” box after the question “During the fiscal years 2002-2006, did you have the capacity to feel shame?"
