UPCOMING MOVIE BHAIYYAJI SUPERHIT WITH SUNNY DEOL, ARSHAD WARSI AND TUSSHAR KAPOOR

Upcoming Movie Bhaiyyaji Superhit with Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor

In one of the most unconventional casting coups to have taken place in recent times, the unthinkable has happened with actors as diverse as Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi and Tusshar Kapoor coming together for a film which has been interestingly titled Bhaiyyaji Superhit. The film would go on floors early next year and there are plans to release it in 2012 itself. What makes the film further noticeable is the fact that it would be directed by Sunny’s close aide Neeraj Pathak.

Confirms a source, “Yes, Sunny and Neeraj were committed to make a film with each other. It was more of a personal and emotional commitment rather than just professional since they shared a great equation during the making of Right Yaaa Wrong. It stays on to be one of the better movies featuring Sunny and he regrets that it couldn’t do well due to poor marketing and promotion. He promised Neeraj that they would make a film together again and have now zeroed in on Bhaiyyaji Superhit.”

With the film they are changing tracks though as it would be an action comedy.

“With the success of Yamla Pagla Deewana, it is apparent that Sunny feels action comedy is a safer genre”, the source continues, “In fact he and Neeraj had also started The Man (with Shilpa Shetty) a few years back but that film has now been shelved. However for Bhaiyyaji Superhit, all pre-production has already been put together with some of the best comic actors in the business being roped in. Arshad and Tusshar are a riot when it comes to comedy. Moreover personally too they share a great equation with each other after their Golmaal stint.”

To feature in a multi starrer is a well thought of move for Sunny as well because instead of the film being focused entirely on him, he can now market the film better with Arshad and Tusshar adding on the star quotient. Moreover for audience too, there is an all around packaging in the offering with actors across two generations bringing in their own brand value.

While the names of the leading ladies would be released soon, Prakash Raj (of Singham and Wanted fame) has been roped in as an ace villain. The film would be a co-production of Sunny’s Vijayta Films, Neeraj Pathak and Chirag Dhariwal (son of Mahendra Dhariwal with whom Sunny has earlier done Maa Tujhe Salaam).
