Kashmera Shah Was Robbed in New Delhi
Kashmera Shah, who is busy stealing others’ girlfriends on her show Steal Your Girlfriend, got a taste of her own medicine as she was robbed in Delhi recently . A couple of thieves broke into the car — used by her during her stay in the Capital for the reality show — and ran away with her bag. Apart from eight credit cards and four debit cards, Shah lost the ring that beau Krushna Abhishek had gifted her during the initial days of their relationship.
She recalls, “I was on my way to the airport and had to halt at a location to shoot for a segment of my show. The driver had parked the car opposite the street where I had to shoot. The driver and I left to reach the spot and that’s when the theft took place. However, they took away my purse which had around eight credit and four debit cards. The credit limit of most of the cards is around Rs 2.5 lakhs. I have also been robbed off my PAN card and driving license. But what has pained me the most is the loss of my precious ‘Om’ ring that Krushna had gifted me as a commitment ring.”
While, Shah is reeling in anger after this ugly incident, she still has things to look up to on the professional front. She has completed a Hollywood movie titled Chasing Happiness in which she plays one of the four lead characters named Kareena. Says Shah, “I teach yoga to Americans in the disguise of a man, even when I don’t know a thing about this technique of meditation.” Isn’t yoga and Kareena, too much of a coincidence? She asserts, “Well, it ends at Kareena and doesn’t have Kapoor. I was glad to know that my character was named Kareena as I am a huge fan of hers.”
Incidentally, the same producer has confirmed her for another movie titled Mata Hari, in which she will play a Spanish lady, who is also a 30-year-old mother.
