In My Mailbox (#49)

In My Mailbox was created by Kristi at The Story Siren. It's a perfect way to see who's reading and review what. Awesome!

I went to the lovely Miriam Halahmy's launch of her brand new book Illegal - out March 20th!  I have read and loved Illegal, and it was lovely to seee Miriam again, seeing Savita Kalhan - author of The Long Weekend - and meeting Sara Grant - author of Dark Parties.  And I KNOW I chatted properly to at least two other people, but their names have slipped me...  Um.. Moving on.
Since it was held at Waterstones (WHY are they all at Waterstones?!  It's like holding an AA meeting in a winery!), I of course picked up one or two books...

For Review:
The Intern by Dillon Khan (Goodreads | Amazon)
A Backstage Pass To The Biggest Gig Of His Life...
I really don't know much about the music biz, but I'm sure I'm going to learn a lot from this book - and laugh while I learn!
The Truth About Celia Frost by Paula Rawsthorne (Goodreads | Amazon)
Squee!  I've been wanting to read this for SO LONG, so thank you to Usborne for sending it!!
The Other Life (The Other Life, Book One) by Susanne Winnacker (Goodreads | Amazon)
Danger Isn't The Only Thing That Makes Your Heart Beat Faster...
Same goes for this one!!  And isn't the cover just amazing?!
Bound by Sarah Bryant (Goodreads | Amazon)
What Happens When An Angel Falls?
This one looks brilliant, and from what I've read it is very good.  Can't wait - gotta love fallen angels!
A Million Suns (Across the Universe, Book Two) by Beth Revis (Goodreads | Amazon)
A Million Miles From Home, Who Can Save Her?
Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that portrayed my excitement sufficiently.  ;)
But seriously, I loved Across The Universe to pieces (see my review: here) and I cannot WAIT to read this one!!

Blood and Guitars

Blood and Guitars by Heather Jensen (Goodreads | Amazon)
This looks ace, and how brilliant is that title and cover!?
What I Have Done by Jen Naumann (Amazon)
One Mistake Can Change Everything
This also looks brilliant, and from what I've read it's really good!
Thank you Penguin, Usborne, Snowbooks, Heather and Jen!

Bought at Miriam Halahmy's Book Launch:

Lia's Guide to Winning The Lottery by Keren David (Goodreads | Amazon)
Yay!  I can't wait to read this one!  And I just love the cover!
Hidden by Miriam Halahmy (Goodreads | Amazon)
Yay, yay, yay, yay, yay!  I loved Illegal so I can't wait to read this!  Yay, yay, yay!!! :D
Divergent by Veronica Roth (Goodreads | Amazon)
She Turns To Face The Future In A World That's Falling Apart
I've heard so many good things about this one, and I've been wanting to get it for ages.  So 25% off deal?  Who can a girl resist?!

And the lovely Miriam was nice enough to sign my copy of Illegal for me!

Hunger Games Swag:

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
I have now calmed down - just.  Scholastic peoples?  You are officially the best people EVER right now!

Well, that's me.  Everyone, if I ever say I'm going to go into Waterstones/Foyles again this month, please yell at me and tell me my moneys have suffered enough.  :(  Thanks!

Onto brighter topics, what was in your mailbox this week? :D
