Deepika to play Rajini's ladylove in 'Kochadaiyaan'

Speculation is ripe that Deepika Padukone will play Rajinikanth’s ladylove in 3D flick, ‘Kochadaiyaan’. "Guys. Deepika padukone confirmed to play appa s pair in Kochadaiyaan :) great to have you back with us @deepikapadukone :):) big hug!"

It was earlier said that Katrina Kaif will be paired opposite Rajinikanth in the film but was later denied by PRO of the production house. Now it is officially confirmed that Deepika will play the leading lady.

Deepika Padukone was Rajinikanth’s heroine in ‘Rana’ but the film shelved after few days of shoot due to Rajinikanth’s ill health. Few days back, the first poster of ‘Kochadaiyaan’ was released where the south superstar flaunts his abs. The film will be directed by Soundarya and was written by K.S Ravikumar. Oscar winner AR Rahman composed the music of the film.

The technology that has been used in the film is of the level of James Cameron's mega hit Avatar and Steven Spielberg's.
