Malaika Arora Khan who was one among Saif Ali Khan’s friend who on Wednesday night partied at Colaba restaurant threw a light on the incident as what exactly happened at the restaurant between Iqbal Sharma, an NRI businessman and her friend and Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan. Malaika broke her silence and spoke in length.
Strongly supporting Saif, she said, “I am glad that Saif finally came out with his statement. It was really unfortunate that something like that happened that night.”
She admitted that there was a big brawl that night and chairs were thrown and two parties abused one another. When Malaika was asked whether she would record her statement especially after Saif said that ladies of his group were abused, she fully agreed to do whatever required.
Sounding too disturbed, Malaika however added “By and large FIR was filed against the men but we’ll do whatever will be required of us.”
After Iqbal Sharma lodged a complaint against Saif and his friends, arrest warrant was issued against him but the actor was released on bail.
Saif was said to be partying with Kareena, Malaika Arora Khan, Shakeel and Amrita Arora while Iqbal is said to be spending time with family and friends at the restaurant.
