You did hear Papa Toh Band Bajaye from the movie Housefull 2 recently, and after watching the first promo of the film you will get to know its true meaning. Here goes the story: there is not one but four beautiful brides waiting to get wed to their prince charming, who all are ‘jolly’ good quite literally.
Now, meet Jolly No. 1 Akshay Kumar, a khurrat guy, going to marry Asin. Up next is Jolly No. 2 played by John Abraham, he is a handsome chor and will romance Jacqueline Fernandez. Third in the row is also Jolly (number 3), who is willing to be a ghar jamaai for the bride Shazahn Padamsee. Who is he? Shreyas Talpade! And now the last Jolly, Ritesh Deshmukh, who will cry buckets after his marriage with the beautiful Zarine Khan.
Par picture abhi baki hai, dost! There are four brides and the grooms, but they are not alone. Brides are not without their favourite papas. Kyunki sasur bhi kabhi damaad tha! Housefull 2 will see the veterans Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Boman Irani as the four sasurs, who can’t get enough of their lovely damaads.
The trailer introduces all the main characters and what they are doing in the film, but the comedy of confusion surely has sub plots. The first promo of the film establishes this, and also, what one can expect from this summer jolt of a film. Housefull 2 releases on 5 April.
